10/2021: I joined the Department of Visual Computing at University of Bonn as Assistant Professor and head of the ‘Learning and Optimisation for Visual Computing’ group.

09/2021: Our paper Sparse Quadratic Optimisation over the Stiefel Manifold with Application to Permutation Synchronisation has been accepted at NeurIPS 2021.

05/2021: I received a CVPR 2021 Outstanding Reviewer Award.

Since October 2021 I am Assistant Professor at the Department of Visual Computing of the University of Bonn, where I head the ‘Learning and Optimisation for Visual Computing’ group. Before that, I held positions as Visiting Professor at the Chair of Computer Vision & Artificial Intelligence at the Technical University of Munich, and as postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics in the Graphics, Vision and Video group.
